Hon. Lady Justice Sarah Langa Siu is a Judge of the High Court of Uganda. Until 3rd March 2025, she was the Chief Registrar of the Judiciary. She was not only the third woman to occupy the office but also the youngest ever. Sarah’s career in the judiciary spans 20 years, having served in various positions on the lower bench, including Deputy Registrar, Chief Magistrate and Magistrate Grade I. As Chief Registrar, she ranked forth in the administrative hierarchy of the Judiciary – supervised the lower bench, was the head of technical matters and official spokesperson of the institution. Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Law from Makerere University. She is married to Dr. Siu Godfrey, and they have four children.
